MUMBAI: After Bob Dylan, Live from the Console in its sixth edition will feature the journey of heavy metal band Iron Maiden through their documentary ‘Flight 666’ on 17 December at the Recording Theatre, Mehboob Studio.
The documentary captures Maiden’s 2008 world tour and showcases concerts across India, Australia, Japan, USA, Canada, Mexico and South America.
Giving music buffs a new taste, the event will host performances by Lucy Swann (Singer/ Songwriter), Turfe (Indie) and Goddess Gagged (Progressive /Post-Hardcore) along with a surprise gig.
The monthly collaborative ‘Live from the Console’ is a collaborative effort of Sony Music Independent arm Day 1 and Oranjuice Entertainment. It aims to gives new bands and fresh music talent an alternative platform while bringing together like-minded people. In a strictly no frills, no VIP sections and back to basics environment one Saturday of every month is dedicated to showcasing different genres of performances and performers.
