MUMBAI: Vernon Noronha, the young songwriter from Mumbai, is a regular in Mumbai’s gig circuit. From reputed music festivals like NH7 Weekender to releasing his debut EP this year, Noronha has had quite a journey. The singer, on the occasion of Christmas, has uploaded a song titled ‘Christmas Carol Medley’.
Released with a simple music video, Noronha is seen playing his guitar and singing the pleasant Christmas-y lyrics, dropping trumpet sounds at one point.

Another Mumbai-based singer-songwriter Chrisanne Pereira dropped her festive single ‘This December’ on YouTube. Similar to Noronha’s video, Pereira appears in the video playing her instrument – piano in this case – and singing the lyrics through the support of additional vocals.

“’This December’ I decided to make a difference and celebrate Christmas with a lot more meaning. I was blessed with this lovely song over a month back and it was Jesus’ call that I spread a message through my talents. Went out to find places for rescued animals, street children and tried to make a difference to their lives in whatever little way I could and also got them to be a part of my musical journey,” said Pereira.
