MUMBAI: Celebrating a super successful 12-year innings as Asia’s largest music festival, Sunburn Festival will introduce a brand new underground music venture called ‘SOLARIS’ featuring a range of exquisite underground international and home-grown house and techno acts on two dedicated stages from 27-29th December 2019 at Vagator Goa.
The first announcement itself is a massive one, as the festival has landed a whopper with techno innovator, Cuban-American DJ/producer and founder of electronica-based label Lone Romantic, Eric Estornel, better known to fans as “Maceo Plex”. Maceo will be making his India debut at Sunburn Festival’s maiden undergoing venture ‘Solaris’ as he plays an electrifying set on the sunny beaches of Vagator Goa.
You may know tech-house mastermind Eric Estornel by a variety of names, including Maceo Plex, Maetrik and Mariel. The Miami-born tastemaker has been carving out a heavy presence over the last decade with constant global dates and a stream of thumping releases including the booming “Conjure Dreams” as well as his latest ‘Mutant Tour 2019’ EP. Maceo selects old school and new school heroes bringing them together to dive deep into all shapes and forms of techno and underground electro.

Adding to the standout line-up that is as futuristic as you could expect from the all-new Sunburn variant ‘SOLARIS’, many more electrifying talents are also confirmed to make a presence and wow Sunburn fans at Solaris’ maiden venture in Goa. There will also be a number of label stage take-overs at the mega-festival, with all of these announcements slated in the next few weeks.

Sunburn will be making its grand homecoming this December at Vagator, Goa after hosting its previous 3 editions at Pune.
