MUMBAI: Legendary British heavy Blues-rock band Led Zeppelin is all set to release its 2007 reunion charity concert film on 17 October.
Directed by Dick Carruthers, the film titled ‘Celebration Day’ will be premiered in London, Los Angeles, New York and other cities and released across 1,500 screens in more than 40 territories. An audio and video release will follow on 19 November.
The band broke up in 1980 after drummer John Bonham died of alcohol abuse. His son, Jason Bonham took his father’s place at the London’s O2 concert.

More than 20 million applied for 18,000 seats to see the band’s one-off show in 2007 at London’s O2 Arena. The tribute concert to Atlantic Records’ founder Ahmet Ertegun had remaining band members of Led Zeppelin- Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and Jimmy Page play 16 songs.
The band has sold over 300 million records.
