MUMBAI: Paparazzi Queen Lady Gaga leads 18th annual MTV Europe Music Awards with six nominations, including Best Video for ‘Born This Way’, and Biggest Fans category.
The â€?Poker Face’ singer will face off with songstress Katy Perry in other four categories Best Female, Best Song, Best Live Act and Best Pop Act, while Bruno Mars leads the category for male acts, scooping Best New Act, Best Male, Best Song and Best Push.
Justin Bieber and Thirty Seconds to Mars will also compete against Gaga, Paramore and Selena Gomez in the new â€?Biggest Fans category’, which honour artistes fan base.
EMAs have also introduce World Wide Act category, allowing fans to vote for artists from different divisions of Europe, with the winner competing against acts from Latin America, North America, Asia Pacific and Africa/India/Middle East.
The 18th annual MTV EMAs will take place on 6 November at 9pm in Odyssey Arena, Belfast and will be broadcasted live on MTV channels across the world.
