MUMBAI: Gully Boy’s music supervisor, Ankur Tewari recently revealed that he would be associating with TVF (The Viral Fever)’s Kota Factory, an upcoming web series. The series would feature his songs, Yaaron and Mohabbat Zindabad.
On asking Tewari about this collaboration, the singer, songwriter from The Ghalat Family said, “I have been working with TVF for a while now and my experience of collaborating with them was nice and smooth. TVF makes quite relatable content for the young audience, in fact, all that I have seen on TVF reminds me of my college life.”
“Kota Factory is about IT, students. I have spent my life on an IT campus, this collaboration was just meant to happen,” he added.
Kota Factory revolves around the life of a 16-year-old student who moves to Kota with hopes of clearing JEE and getting into an IIT. The show follows his journey as he learns to cope and compete under pressure with the help of his friends and teachers.
We asked if Ankur has any further plans to collaborate with TVF again, to which he said, “There are no immediate plans as of now, but I have a good feeling about this association and wish on doing more projects together.”
Tewari rose to fame with his Independent songs and has made a mark in the music industry. We asked him to give advice to all budding indie musicians out there, “I feel you can enjoy what you are doing if you still haven’t found out what you want. It is not necessary that you have to be passionate about music,if you find passion in studying then you can enjoy that too. As long as you’re having fun doing that, you can continue.”
Ankur Tewari, who is known for being ‘a man of few words’, gave a sweet small message to his fans, “Listen to my music, and share it with your friends.”
Moving forward, Ankur also revealed about a single that he’s working on, “I am coming up with Dil Dubey, which speaks about ‘drowning in love’. I still have to figure out how I am going to present it.”
Meanwhile, Ankur Tewari is also working on another project (a single) with his band ‘Ankur & The Ghalat Family’, which will be releasing soon.
