MUMBAI: Global superstar Katy Perry will be coming to India to headline the inaugural OnePlus Music Festival in her first-ever performance in Mumbai on 16 November 2019.
“I am so happy to be returning to India and excited to headline my first-ever performance in Mumbai. I am looking forward to seeing and singing with all of my Indian KatyCats at the OnePlus Music Festival,” exclaimed Katy Perry.
Speaking about the event, Universal Music Group India and South Asia managing director and CEO Devraj Sanyal said, “Katy is a not only a massive global pop superstar who has a big India fan base but is someone who’s been relevant for some time now starting with Teenage Dream to Prism and ‘Witness’, and now her newest singles, Never Really Over and Small Talk. Her songs have been a legend for her Indian fans and they can’t wait to see her perform in Mumbai. The buzz is palpable as we count-down to 16 November and the first-ever OnePlus Music Festival, which is now bound to be a date to mark on the annual calendar, as a day of music and celebration.”
