The film starts with the title track Karthik calling Karthik… as a background score to the opening credits. The track is perfectly woven with the credits figuring out like numbers and then converting into alphabets
The dance number “Uff teri adaa” with Shankar and Alyssa Mendonsa crooning the number is well shot with Farhan portraying the somber guy and Deepika the extrovert chick. It is an upbeat track with the couple showcasing some funny antics making the video more entertaining

Kaisi hai ye udaasi…, one of the best tracks in the album rendered by Kailash Kher and Sukanya Purkayastha figures in the latter part of the movie. The track surfaces when Farhan is out on hibernation trying to run away from his namesake and the couple reminisces memorable moments spent together. This track forms an important part in the film as it transcends the lead character into new beginnings. Kailash Kher’s soulful vocals are an asset for the track
The heavy percussion instrumental piece Karthik 2.0… could have been better utilized in the film and although a good piece in the album goes wasted.
