MUMBAI: Reviving the magic of vinyl records, renowned indie artistes including Karsh Kale and Ankur Tiwari with his band have created limited edition vinyl records in collaboration with sports and lifestyle brand Puma.
Apart from Kale and Tiwari’s band Ankur and the Ghalat Family, Dualist Inquiry, Reggae Rajahs, Tough on Tobacco, Karsh Kale, The Supersonics and Gaurav Raina ( Midival Punditz) will also create a track each for the edition.
Speaking about the initiative with Radioandmusic.com, Tiwari said, “It’s a great initiative, the whole idea is to revive the beauty of listening to music via vinyl record and also highlighting a social message. All the indie artistes/bands have created one song each that will lend social message. The fact that we are able to lend social message through this unique way is what allured Ankur and the Ghalat Family into this initiative.” The band will try to highlight message – ‘Misuse of power by people in position’ through their track.
