MUMBAI: The Karsh Kale soundsystem doesn’t need any more introduction. The world-renowned music producer who has been persistent in pushing the boundaries of music for almost two decades now has joined forces with Red Bull Music Academy along with the Karsh Kale Collective.
Karsh Kale Collective is a collaborative effort of the ‘visionary composer’ Karsh Kale along with singers like Pavithra Chari, one half of the band ‘Shadow and Light’, flute player Ajay Prasanna, Apeksha Dandekar, a Bollywood playback singer, and Warren Mendonsa, a member of Blackstratblues, also nephew of renowned Bollywood composer Loy Mendonsa. The track is composed by Pavithra Chari and Anindo Bose, two sole members of the Delhi based contemporary band Shadow and Light.
On that note, Red Bull Studio Science is an invention where music aficionados can witness the laboratories of the musicians who make the music we love. The shooting for the Red Bull Studio Science is taking place at Yash Raj Studios, Mumbai.

Talking about it one-half of the duo ‘Shadow and Light’ Pavithra Chari said, “We can’t reveal any more details about this now, but all I can say is one song is composed by me and Anindo which is for Red Bull Studio Science. Also, there will be more than one song from Shadow and Light at Mood Indigo presented by Karsh Kale Collective and it will be a live staging.”
In that addition, Pavithra Chari, Apeksha Dandekar, and Warren Mendonsa have performed with Karsh Kale as ‘Karsh Kale Collective’ at Bacardi NH7 Weekender, Pune this year on 4 December 2016.
Lastly, Karsh Kale Collective will be performing at Mood Indigo, IIT Bombay’s annual cultural festival on 24 December 2016.
