Junglee Music bags rights of ‘Horn Ok Please’

MUMBAI: Times Music’s new sibling Junglee has acquired the music rights of the Rimi Sen, Nana Patekar and Mozammil Ibrahim starrer Horn Ok Please.

This is the third acquisition by the six month old label, which started life with a big ticket movie, Anees Bazmee’s Welcome  It later made headlines with the acquisition of Singh Is Kinng, whose digital rights it later sold for a record price to UTV New Media.

Junglee music is all about youth music. We are catering to the youth through this new label. The label is all about fun and peppy songs in the industry which is created more to cater the youth of today,… says Times Music COO Adarsh Gupta.

Junglee, floated to target Bollywood and the South Indian music,  has acquired the music of Budhivanta, Saroja, Kadalil Vizhundhen, Aa ee and Thipparallnja tharagetu. Junglee has a different marketing team to promote the music in the south.

The music of Horn OK Please has been scored by Lalit Pandit and one song composed by Amar Mohile. With eight tracks in the album, Lalit has explored the comedy genre through his music. The songs have been rendered by new singers like Toshi Sabri and Shilpa Rao.

Talking about the music of the movie music director Lalit Pandit said, Horn Ok Please has a very fast paced and youth oriented. Nana Patekar’s rap will work wonders for the album. The music includes Marathi tunes to give it the flavor of the movie….
