MUMBAI: She is the darling of the film fraternity and has featured in some memorable films on the silver screen with her acting prowess in Darr, Darar, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. She also became a part owner of the IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders. We are talking about the ever bubbly and charming Juhi Chawla.
The actress has been honing her singing skills after recently debuting as a singer in the Punjabi film Des Hoyaa Pardes. When asked what music means to her, Juhi replied with a smile, “Music is something that is present everywhere and has different roles but for me it is a mood changer. When you laugh you listen to music when you cry you listen to music.”
Her play list comprises all the different genres from classical to old melodies to current tracks. “When I have youngsters by my side, I try and listen to recent tracks so that I do not look like an old aunty who keeps listening to old songs only,” said the actress who donned a peach colour anarkali dress.
Talking about her being an anchor for the Anand Trust, a charitable organisation concert along with maestros like Pandit Shiv Kumar and Zakhir Hussain she said, “I will not be singing but I anchored the show last year too.”
