Jonas Brothers cancel upcoming tour due to “creative differences”

MUMBAI: American pop rock band, ‘The Jonas Brothers’ have reportedly cancelled their upcoming tour citing creative differences. The three brothers, Kevin-25, Joe-24 and Nick-21 were scheduled to kick off a tour on 11 October. Unfortunately, the band called off the 19 date-tour just two days before it could commence.

Reports said that a “deep, creative rift” was the cause for the tour cancellation. According to sources the multiplatinum band recently sat down to figure out the direction of their music, but could not decide where it was going. The trio of brothers have released four albums since 2006 and were working on the fifth one. Earlier in the year, they dropped two singles ‘Pom Poms’ and ‘First Time’, but it seems like the album will be put on hold for now too.

The boys who started their music careers when they were teens have individually pursued various projects in the last few years. In fact, 25 year old Kevin is enjoying an alternative career in a hit reality TV show ‘Married to Jonas’. However, contrary to belief, a source close to the band revealed that the tour cancellation had nothing to do with Kevin’s filming or his wife- Dani’s pregnancy.

It has been confirmed that the band will sit down to solve the problem, but there has been no statement regarding the re-schedule of the tour. However, fans who bought tickets to the tour will be reimbursed. As for the brothers, it is left to be seen what they decide about their future.
