Jessica Wolff plans surprise for her India tour

MUMBAI: Finnish artist Jessica Wolff is on her maiden trip to India to promote her latest album ‘Renegade’ and will perform some of her new tracks, including ‘Broken Wings’ and ‘Dirty Kisses’. She will be touring across six cities of India starting at Hard Rock Café (HRC) Bengaluru on 11 December this year and will conclude on 18 December 2013.

Wolff will be performing through the week in six cities- Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad and Delhi. In a conversation with Radioandmusic.com, she hinted at a little surprise during her live performance. When asked about her expectation with this trip, she said, “I am a collector of adventures and experiences so this is all included. I am looking forward to seeing new places, new people, the interesting culture but most of all the gigs and meeting the new audience.”

She also exclaimed that this tour will be a dream come true experience.

The pop-rock artiste also expressed her knowledge on Indian music. She pointed out that Bollywood is the first thing that comes to her mind, which is followed by Indian Classical music. “I am far from an expert and am looking forward to learning about Indian musical culture,” says Wolff.

Her album ‘Renegade’ has ten tracks. Speaking about her album she said, “Making the album was like riding a roller coaster filled with different kinds of experiences and emotions. It was everything from exciting, challenging, hectic and funny to stressful, amazing and relaxing.”

While she had many memorable experiences working on the album, her most significant one of all was an early morning skydiving stint in California before going to the studio, she claims.
