MUMBAI: When a Sufi/ghazal song comes to mind, with no doubts the song has to be by Bollywood’s distinguished singer Javed Ali. The singer has given unforgettable hits like Kun Faya Kun, Guzarish, Arziyan and more. He is now trying to tap on the independent music scene and for that, he has released a new single Toh Yeh Subah Nahi on his YouTube channel and Sony DADC.
Before this, another single was released 10 months ago called Rangreziya. In between the singles, Javed was caught up with many more things. “This song would have released six months ago, but I was tied due to Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, concerts and more. Also, the production consumes more time which I was unable to give and thus there was a delay,” said the singer.
Toh Yeh Subah Nahi is sung and composed by Javed Ali while the lyrics are penned by Raqueeb Alam. “I wanted to come up with something refreshing as my second single, so I got this thought and without thinking much I conceptualised it.”

Shot in the beautiful locations of Umroli in Maharashtra, the shooting took around three days while the song recording took time as Javed kept coming with innovations even after the recording.The song finally released at Hungama office.
The singer will be releasing another single in two months. Also, a few recreations of melodies or ghazals are under process. He has also recorded for Bollywood and hopes the songs to be released soon.
