MUMBAI: Sourabh Joshi, known for his tracks like Sukoon Mila, Banjara has sung with celebrated performer Rekha Bhardwaj in a ton of concerts and nailed them. He shares his experience working with the Kabira fame singer.
“It’s an amazing experience working on stage with Rekha mam. Actually earlier I used to only play rhythm guitar in her band then slowly I started singing the chorus. Then she realized that I sing well, that’s when she asked me to sing duets with her. That’s how the duet thing happened and now I sing, perform with my guitar as well,” expressed Joshi.
He recollects a memory with the singer, “She had told me ‘when you are singing on stage there is no artist small or big. On stage everybody is equal’. That really touched me and helped me in my musical carrier. She is really nice, humble and a good-natured human being. She always pushed me and motivated me throughout my singing career.

Lately, Joshi had released Chandni Raat track. Sharing the making of the same he states, “We were just tired of doing our usual stuff or recording and were thinking of doing something new. We were jamming, that’s when we got the theme and my wife who’s also a lyricist started writing it.”
