MUMBAI: Ishita Vishwakarma is declared as the winner of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2019. Ishita belonged to Bollywood music composer, Shekhar Ravjiani’s team on the show.
On winning this prestigious honour, happy Ishita exclaims, “First of all thank you everyone for supporting and voting for me. You guys have made me the deserving candidate to be crowned as the winner of this trophy.”
“It’s a dream of every singer to sing on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and since I am the winner of the show, it is indeed a big honour for me I am very happy,” she adds.

On being asked about her journey on the show, “it was a musical journey and the most important thing is that I learnt many things, received many compliments. I also received many playback offers during the show.”
When asked about mentor Shekhar Ravjiani, Ishita shares, “Shekhar sir is one of the most popular music directors in the country and I was keen to be a part of his Gharana’. It is a big thing for a singer if a big music director like him gives you tips.”
Ishita also shares her striking moment from the show, “When Shah Rukh Khan sir had come on one of the episodes of our show, I had sang, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Anushka Sharma was also present along with him. Shah Rukh sir had given me a lot of compliments and good comments. He also said that I can do a lot in playback, which indeed is like a lifetime memory for me.”
ZEE TV’s iconic music reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa entered its 23rd year, had begun its journey on 13 October 2018.
