MUMBAI: Ananya Sritam Nanda, who won the second season of ‘Indian Idol Junior’ has debuted with her single ‘Mausam Mastana’ on Universal Music.
The song is a rendition of the popular number from the movie ‘Satte Pe Satta’ (1982) sung by the legendary singers Asha Bhosle and Dilraj Kaur. Ananya’s rendition is a perfect combination of Bollywood and Urban Pop with a hint of Reggae in it. Jusa Dementor has rapped while DJ Aks is the additional composer as well as the lyricist of the song.
Speaking on the release of her debut single, Ananya said, “This is all part of the dream that started with the Indian Idol Junior audition and it still doesn’t seem real. I feel really honored to be singing a song that has been made popular by none other than Ashaji and I hope she feels proud of me when she hears the song”.
