MUMBAI: As the singing reality show Indian Idol 6 reaches its pinnacle, it is becoming difficult to judge that who would steal away the title this season. In the seventh gala round, the show will witness patriotic melodies as contestants will celebrate Independence Day.
Poorvi Koutish will commence the musical evening by rendering ‘Ali More Angna’ and ‘Suno Gaur se Duniya Walo’, while Devendra Pal will sing ‘Oh Laal Meri’ and ‘Mera Rang de Basanti Chola’, Amit Kumar will croon ‘Mohe Rang de Basanti’ and Vipul Mehta will sing AR Rahman’s ‘Vande Mataram’.
Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha will join the contestants as they celebrate the spirit of patriotism. Promoting her upcoming film ‘Joker’, she will also dance on her signature step from the song ‘I wanna just you’ indulging in some fun moments with the contestants and judges.
