MUMBAI: After creating musical superhit ‘Rockstar’, Imtiaz Ali, Ranbir Kapoor and Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman are all set to work again on a music based fun film. The yet untitled film, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala will be a comedy and all-out fun film, agency report said.
Nadiadwala had held talks with Ali and Kapoor for a sequel to ‘Rockstar’. But the duo preferred an anti-thesis of the dark and brooding film of 2011. The film is expected to go on floors next year.
AR Rahman on his part will complete Yash Chopra’s yet untitled film, Aanand Rai’s Dhanush starrer ‘Raanjhnaa’, before joining the project.
The project will take-off after Nadiadwala finishes his other two projects-one starring Tiger Shroff in October and then ‘Two States’ with Arjun Kapoor in December.
