MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television is about to treat the ‘Indian Idol Junior’ fans with yet another episode. While you thought it was all over, entertainment is just about to begin with ‘Indian Idol Ka Jalwa.’
‘Indian Idol Ka Jalwa’ will be a two-hour long singing treat for all Sony viewers. This special edition will air on Sunday (13 September, 2015) and it will feature the top four ‘Indian Idol Junior’ finalists from season one and two. Debanjana Karmaka, Anjana Padmanabhan, Nirvesh Sudhanshubhai Dave, and Anmol Jaswal from season one will be seen performing with Nithyashree Venkataramanan, Vaishnav Girish, Ananya Nanda and Nahid Afrin of season two.
However, these artists will not be performing all alone. They will be accompanied by talented singers Papon, Chinmayi Sripada, Javed Ali and Shilpa Rao. During the show, these singers will give a piece of advice to the contestants.

The host of ‘Indian Idol Junior-2’ Hussain Kuwajerwala and Asha Negi will host this special edition. The shooting of the same took place on 9 September, 2015.
Junior-2 wrapped up on 6 September, 2015 with Ananya Nanda from Odisha winning the singing competition and also winning a two-year contract worth 10 lakhs with Universal Music India. The label also gave Vaishnav Girish, Nahid Afrin, Nithyashree Venkataramanan and Moti Khan an opportunity to release one single each with them.
