MUMBAI: Remember the soulful Mile Ho Tum song that remained in the back in our minds for a long time after its release? The song continues to be liked and it has received over 100,000 comments on its YouTube video. It has created history as this is the first YouTube video on Indian YouTube channel to receive so many comments. Earlier in May this year, Radioandmusic had reported another record by this song – that of achieving one million views.

It was on 27 July 2016 that the song was launched by Zee Music Company. Beautifully sung by the Kakkar siblings Neha and Tony, the lyrics of the song have been penned by Tony.

Speaking about Mile Ho Tum video Tony says, “This video has got the most organic response from the audience. The response has been unlike a the response by other video. Such a great response! And to think that initially, after shooting we were a bit dicey about even releasing this video because it’s not a fancy video!”
The strings of the guitar in Mile Ho Tum touched many hearts because the melody is simple. The best part is that people can connect with the lyrics. One of the first songs that comes to mind for dedicating a song to someone special would be definitely be Mile Ho Tum. Instruments like the flute and guitar were by Kiran. All the other arrangements for the musical instruments were done by Aditya Dev who is a close friend of Tony’s.
Tony has recently released his new single Aaja Meri Bike Pe which is a party number. The single is shot in different locations at Thailand and is directed by Faizal Mia PhotuWale. “While Faizal has put in a lot of effort in such a short time frame the output which is commendable and can be seen in the video,” said Tony.
“Neha was really excited about this song and when such a great singer sings it, it’s always amazing. Also the shooting with Iris Maity was great because she is a girl who is very positive as well as talented. Also while shooting the video she did not throw tantrums,” Tony revealed.
The Sawaan Aaya Hai singer is super excited about his new song Aaja Meri Bike Pe and wishes that his audience loves it and appreciates it as much as they did Mile Ho Tum Humko
