MUMBAI: Radio City Hyderabad hunts for the city’s first ever Fun J (Fun Jockey). The newly launched show is named ‘Navvula Don,’ the winner of which will win himself the opportunity to be part of City family and host the show on air.
The show is a hunt for the wittiest Telugu radio jockey for the station. The series took off from June 14 and will go on till June 22.
Commenting on the event Radio City programming and marketing national head Rana Barua said, “Radio City has always been known to lead when it comes to music and introducing unique, innovative initiatives. With ‘Navvula Don’ we’re looking out for a Fun Jockey which is a completely new category of a radio host altogether. Our Fun J needs to be a personality who is original and resonates with Hyderabad city with his refreshing take on humour.” Top five finalists of the hunt would be announced by June 24. The selected five will be hosting the show live on ‘Whatte Fun Mornings’ and co-host the show with RJ Vamsee from June 30 to July 4.

Hyderabad listeners can vote during this period for their favourite Fun Jockey. This round of SMS-voting will conclude in the grand finale on July 5 that will be judged by a panel of celebrity judges.
The event would be supported by a hi-decibel promotional campaign comprising extensive outdoors, on-air and ground support. City Centre mall is the ground partner for the event.
