MUMBAI: On the occasion of world music day, leading online music provider Hungama.com will play melodious music beginning 15 June.
The site will celebrate Music Week showcasing all styles and genres of music, beginning with pop to ghazals to the super duper hits of the 90’s, retro hits and much more. Music will be categorized into Bollywood, International, Regional and Hindi.
The site will allow subscribers to select a dedicated playlist from a genre. The playlist can be changed every day. The site has over 2.5 million content pieces across multiple genres including 5,000 films and TV videos in HD and SD formats.

Notable artists that subscribers and Internet surfers can enjoy include Lata Mangeshkar, AR Rahman, Kishore Kumar and Aatif Aslam. The International category will offer Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber, Bob Marley among others. A collection of the ghazals with stalwarts will also be put up to celebrate the week.
The site also recently launched its new music app for its android, iOS and BB10 devices with features like quick start, radio, social media sharing and video.
