MUMBAI: Hungama Digital has partnered antipiracy crusader M M Satish’s organisation, Global IPR Foundation to organise an anti piracy event on 16 December 2009 in association with JW Marriot.
To be hosted at Marriot post 10 pm, the event will showcase performances by Himesh Reshammiya, Shibani Kashyap, Band of Boys and DJ Akbar Sami. It will be attended by TV actors, honchos from the music labels, digital sphere and film personalities including Sanjay Dutt and Bappi Lahiri.
M M Satish says, the anti piracy night would be an opening event to announce the movement â€?I Hate Fake’ coined by him. The idea behind it is to get people from the entertainment industry take an oath to fight piracy which is draining our economy….

Post the event, Global IPR Foundation will be launching a series of marathon ‘Anti Pirathon’ kick starting in Mumbai, Goa and then in other parts of the country.
