MUMBAI: HT Media Ltd has received a no-objection letter from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for the transfer of the FM radio licence.
The transfer to HT Media by subsidiary company HT Music and Entertainment (HTME) will come into effect from 15 May.
Fever FM, HT Media’s radio business, operates in four cities – Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata.
Last year, the company’s board had given it the approval to merge Fever FM with HTML, after demerging it from HTME. The demerger was subject to necessary approvals and sanction of the concerned authorities and Delhi High Court.
