MUMBAI: Raftaar is no longer an unknown quantity on the Indian hip-hop music scene. Born on 16 November 1988 in Kerala, Dilin Nair also known as Raftaar was formerly a member of the urban music group Mafia Mundeer. Mafia Mundeer was formed by Honey Singh. Raftaar split from the group and was signed onto Three Records by the Punjabi band RDB. He is a well-known lyricist, composer, rapper and dancer who’s been dabbling in Bollywood as well.
