MUMBAI: After a brief lull, Hom Records is back in the music scenario with the music rights of ‘The Unforgettable’.
The music for the film is composed by Ismail Darbar.
“Though it is an Enlgish movie, the music of the film is in Hindi with Sunidhi Chuahan and Kunal Ganjawala, apart from host of others crooning for it,” says HOM Records A&R Head Sajid Maklai.
The music label’s last acquisition was ‘Ek Chaalis Ki Last Local’. Talking about the long lull, Maklai says, “We exclusively bagged the license for the digital sales of the music label Crescendo for some time. We were a little tied up with that. But now we will be looking forward to acquire some new projects.”
Talking about the label’s forthcoming Bollywood projects Maklai says, Currently we only have ‘The Unforgettable’ on our plate. We would be acquiring the audio rights of some films soon….
The label will bring out non-film album by independent artiste Ankur Tiwari. “The album will be released in October,” informs Maklai.
