MUMBAI: Delhi based FM station Hit FM has lauched ‘The Ultimate Santana Challenge’, an initiative to commemorate guitarist Carlos Santana.
A personally autographed original Red Paul Reed Smith guitar of Carlos Santana can be won through IDEA presents The Ultimate Santana Challenge.
A six week long promotion has been initiated, with an invitation to Delhi bands to participate in the Santana Challenge has now resulted in a huge awareness for this challenge, where the winning music band wins Carlos Santanas personally autographed Red Paul Reed Smith guitar. The opportunity extends to allow all bands in Delhi to send in their work to the radio station to earn qualification via live and recorded performances.
The live performance of the Delhis biggest bands will be held at a South Delhi venue in front of a jury across three weekends on 12 and 19 April, culminating with the finals on 26 April with bands vying for the autographed guitar.
