MUMBAI: Hello FM Network’s stations in Chennai, Pondicherry, Trichy, Tirunelveli, Coimbatore, Tuticorin and Madurai planned a star-studded lineup to celebrate Pongal. The station has packed its ‘Festival Weekend Specials’ with shows feature Tamil film stars like music director G V Prakash, actors Dhanush, Maddy, Prabhu, Karthi, Directors Gautham Vasudev Menon and Vetrimaran on the 14th and 15th of January.
Pongal day opened with actress Trisha, followed by G V Prakash’s interview. Some of the other 14 January attractions include director Vetrimaaran and actor Prabhu’s free-wheeling interviews.
On January 15, actors Pa Vijay, Dhanush, Karthi and ace director Gautham Vasudev Menon will take centrestage. All shows will be interspersed with 30-second PSAs or witty Pongal sparklers…, as a company announcement puts it.
