MUMBAI: With the insurmountable success of Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots, Shankar, one of the most celebrated directors of South India, will direct the remake of the film in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously
The director has roped in music director Haaris Jayaraj to compose the music of the film. The talented music director also scored music for Shankar’s Aparachitudu. The Shankar- Harris combo has been a hit before and hence the audience will have a lot of expectations from this film
Vijay will play the lead role (originally played by Aamir Khan) in the Tamil version while Mahesh Babu will replace Vijay in Telugu. Sathyaraj is expected to enact the role made memorable by Boman Irani (Virus) in both Tamil and Telugu
