MUMBAI: Musician-singer Hariharan will undertake his ‘Soul India’ tour in September-October across Canada and US circuit. He will perform a multi-genre music concert that will blend ghazal, Indian classical, pop, fusion, Thumri, folk and Bollywood styles.
Announcing the tour on Facebook, Hariharan said that he would be touring with a 17 member band troupe comprising of Indian and Western musicians playing keyboard, drums, guitars, saxaphone, tabla, and Indian flute. His shows will be two-and-half hours long.
“I am happy and proud to announce my concert tour of Soul India in USA and Canada during September-October 2013. The concert begins with a Folk blending into Ghazal, continuing into a Film song and dissolves into a fusion Music. Soul India is indeed a meandering river giving shades of each style at every turn and twist”, he said.
