H-D India to use Radio for events; associates with Music

BANGALORE:  H-D India Motor Company India Private Limited (Harley-Davidson India) opened its fifth dealership — Tusker Harley-Davidson — in the country in Bangalore on Thursday.

Sanjay Tripathi, Director of Marketing – Harley-Davidson India, told RadioAndMusic.com, Our brand believes that the user must experience â€?leisure travel’ by way of test rides,  and we hold such events across the world. We will use Radio especially for mass media communications for such events…. H-D will use traditional media such as newspapers and lifestyle and auto magazines to target the cities it has dealerships in.

The iconic and aspirational brand has also been using music through its unique rock property â€?Harley Rock Riders’ in India. Tripathi said the brand intends to make this an annual event. The Harley-Davidson culture is as much about its unique style as the motorcycles themselves. Self-expression is what Harley is all about, and that is what connects us with rock music. India has an increasingly growing rock music culture, and performing artists who possess immense talent and potential.
