MUMBAI: The multitalented man, Vishal Bhardwaj keeps brutally honest people around him to surpass his songs. Yes, you heard it right! There is no going the easy way in the music business for Bhardwaj.
At the All About Music Conference recently, the composer-lyricist revealed that since, he has to make a song and pass it by himself too, given the fact that he makes music for the films he directs, he keeps honest people around. “I keep brutally honest friends around. Gulzar Saab is always around and he is very honest,” confessed the Rangoon director.
He further added that he does not sit in a place to compose songs. The process is natural for him and he does it while he is on the go. “I keep my subconscious fed with the thought of making a good song and that’s how it happens,” said Bhardwaj.
