MUMBAI: American blues-jazz guitarist Scott Henderson will be performing in India on 16th May at St. Andrews Auditorium, Bandra, this will be Henderson second tour.
The Scott Henderson Trio, consist of bassist Travis Carlton and drummer Allan Hertz.
Scott Henderson and his band had given a remarkable performance last year around March 2010. Music composer Sandeep Chowta is also expected to perform with the band at the gig.
Scott Henderson first came into the spotlight as the original guitarist for the revolutionary Chick Corea Elektric Band. Later, Scott formed Tribal Tech with bass player Gary Willis in 1984 that eventually went on to become one of the most highly-regarded fusion bands of the 1990s.
Scott Henderson is also one of the few musicians who give lessons at the Guitar Institute of Technology in California – one of the most sought after destination for professional musicians.
