Glee’s 100th episode will feature Gwyneth Paltrow and Chace Crawford

MUMBAI: Come 18 March, Fox’s hit musical show Glee will air its 100th episode, which will include some high profile guest stars. According to sources, the show will be bringing back Emmy award winning Gwyneth Paltrow (as substitute teacher Holly Holiday) and Chace Crawford (Gossip Girl).

The milestone episode is reported to feature a number of Glee remixes that have been selected based on fan votes. Fans were allowed to vote from 30 tracks from the show’s five seasons. The top ten most voted tracks will apparently be remixed for the episode.

Former cast members Amber Riley (Mercedes), Mark Salling (Puck), Dianna Agron (Quinn), Harry Shum Jr. (Mike), Heather Morris (Brittany) and Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth (April) are also set to return for the two part episode.

Reports state that the episode will focus on Jane Lynch’s character- Principal Sue Sylvester’s accomplishment of shutting down McKinley High’s glee club; a mission she has been on right from the first season.

Co-creator of the show Ryan Murphy has no doubt been excited about the episode casting and has updated his Twitter followers with each confirmed appearance. The show, which is high on guest stars has previously roped in a number of high profile names including Ricky Martin, Demi Lovato, Gloria Estefan, Idina Menzel, Josh Groban, Olivia Newton John, Neil Patrick Harris and Britney Spears.

The 100th episode is slated to air on 18 and 25 March.
