MUMBAI: Stebin Ben, ‘Kabhi Jo Baadal Barse’ fame, made his debut in playback singing in 2017 for a Hindi web series and has been a household name in the B-town since then. Known for his melodious voice, Stebin has been ruling the hearts of music lovers with his phenomenal work and has come a long way in his musical career singing covers of songs like ‘Mera Dil Bhi Kitna Pagal Hain’, ‘Bheegi Bheegi Raaton Mein’ to giving chartbusters like Thoda Thoda Pyaar, Baarish Ban Jaana, Mera Mehboob, Rula Ke Gaya Ishq.
The playback singer and performer from Bhopal is the MTV Beats Artist of the Month. On talking about collaborations with other musical artists, Stebin wishes to perform with Music Maestro A.R. Rahman & legendary Pritam Da along with International fame such as Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran & his school-time crush – ‘Taylor Swift’!
Speaking of ticking the top five things from his bucket list, he says, “Honestly, I have already ticked off a lot of things from my bucket list but I would like to do some things like drive a convertible car all around the globe. Do scuba diving and watch the Northern Lights this year. The next would be to perform at the biggest stadium, at a football match or for IPL and lastly would want to play a match with Indian and International cricketers.”
Stebin also reveals some unknown facts about himself and says, “I am a Civil Engineer, 2015 batch pass out and I love Cricket a lot. If I wouldn’t have been a singer I would have been a Cricketer, I am a fast bowler, batsman and an all-rounder. I was the fastest runner in school & I am a foodie with a sweet tooth. Lastly, whenever there is a shoot or a concert – I style my own hair!”
