NEW DELHI: The government has postponed for the fourth time the financial bidding for the remaining 97 FM radio stations across 48 cities.
Set for 29 December and 10 January, the 27 short-listed private FM radio companies will now submit their bids on 14 and 21 January, sources in the industry told Indiantelevision.com.
Earlier bidding dates of 7 November and 14 December were also postponed.

“A few FM radio operators sought clarity on the net worth issue. While computing the radio company’s net worth, the government did not want to take the licence fee amount as part of it,” a source said.
Radio Today Broadcasting, part of the Living Media Group, is believed to be one among the companies who wanted the net worth issue to be sorted out.
