MUMBAI: Music sensation Norman Cook aka Fatboy Slim enthralled Indian audience with his euphoric Big Beach Boutique stylized maiden tour held on 5 and 6 May in Gurgaon and Bengaluru respectively.
The tour kick-started by Arjun Vagale and Dualist Inquiry (Gurgaon) was hosted by Nikhil Chinapa, while Rohit Barker hosted Bangalore concert which featured opening acts by DJ Ivan and Brute Force. Fatboy slim performed some of his renowned numbers like Weapon of Choice, Praise You, The Rockafeller Skank, Right Here Right Now and Champion Sound.
The concert showcased unique visual stimulations with 3D laser lighting, psychedelic visual effects, moving lights, onstage fireworks and digital interactions featuring some of the best musicians from around the globe and India.

Speaking about his first Indian performance, Fatboy Slim said, “India was a fantastic experience. I loved all my fans and the whole experience of playing to a crowd of people who understand dance and music and have it running in their very bloodline is just insane. But I have to say, the setup was stellar. For the Indian fans, you have to know what exactly they’d like to hear, to draw them in. I’m glad there was ample support tonight. The vibes were perfect I am looking forward to the next trip, till then keep it musical.”

The Indian edition of Fatboy Slim India Tour was organized by 6th Dimension and was supported by Submerge and 3rd Rock Entertainment.
