MUMBAI: Singer actor Farhan Akhtar has joined hands with Radio City for a first of its kind initiative – a ground concert that will be aired live on the station this Sunday.
Akhtar will perform live on 8 May 2016 at New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi Stadium. Akhtar, who last performed in Surat on 29 April 2016 can be heard on Radio City currently in the concert promos voicing in his distinctive style, “Are you having a good time!”
The FM radio station has planned the event on Mother’s Day but it has nothing to do with the occasion. The radio station has a separate gig planned for Mother’s Day in the show ‘Joke Studio’ where the RJ will speak about the funnier side of mothers.

The new campaign promises to come up with a slew of new programming initiatives and one guesses that the Akhtar concert is in line with the same.
