MUMBAI: People all over India are zealous about Navratri 2017 and there is some special news for Falguni Pathak fans. They will experience something different this Navratri Mahotsav 2017 at the Late Shri Pramod Mahajan Sports Complex at Borivali. The queen of dandiya has evealed that she is going to perform Rajasthani, Punjabi, Marathi songs this year, something that her non-Gujarati fans will also find a reason to rejoice over.
Falguni Pathak had released Jode Rejo Raaj quite some time back. She said, “ Keeping Navratri in mind I have recreated an old Gujarati song Jode Rejo Raaj and the video is out on my YouTube channel. I just hope my non-Gujarati fans also love it. This is the most awaited time of the year. This year we are preparing the best of songs that offer great beats for dandiya and garba enthusiasts.”
While Pathak also articulates about contemporary songs when asked what she feels about Honey Singh’s raps and recent Bollywood songs, she replied, “I feel music is constantly changing almost every week and Honey Singh has been around for a long time now. While I do like a few Bollywood songs, but when it comes to performing for the Navratri festival. I will always stick to tradition,” said the Pari Hu Main singer.
