MUMBAI: Recently, Indian rock band- Euphoria’s Palash Sen was spotted shooting for his second film ‘Aisa Yeh Jahaan’ in Mumbai and Golaghat. 80 per cent of the film, which stars Sen and Ira Dubey, is complete and the remaining twenty per cent will be shot on August. The film is directed by award winning film maker Biswajeet Bora and music for the film has been composed by Euphoria.
The band is currently working on a few tracks for ‘Aisa Yeh Jahaan’. Sources said, “They have tried something new for the film. The style used is different, but when you hear it you will know it is a Euphoria track. The band experimented with the songs in order to find the right sound for the film.”
The source further added, “It is perhaps the most mature work by the band till date.”

Sen has just finished shooting for the film ‘Sondhe Namar Agey’ (Before Sunset) which features Rahul Bose and Rituparna Sengupta. The film will be released later this year.
The band had also recently released a single called ‘Walk-on’ and there are plans for releasing a non-film album or a single very soon. The band has been singed under Universal Music, so the next project will also be under them. The band’s fifth album ‘Item’ was announced and premiered in New York and is still doing well in terms of sales. Its sixth album ‘Sharnaagat’ was released in 2013, and saw the band taking a completely different direction by going spirutal.
The satirical film ‘Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi’ was their latest project with Bollywood. There will be new concerts and tour dates announced once the season for festivals starts. Their last tour was in Zurich, Switzerland.
