MUMBAI: After striking success with his 2010 release ‘Recovery’, Marshall Bruce Mathers III aka Eminem has officially announced the release of his eighth solo album by next year.
The Slim Shady has leaked details of his new album via a commemorative baseball cap sold on his website online store. The cap features lists of landmark dates for the artist’s past solo records on its side panel. The ‘Not Afraid’ hit maker did not mention any specifics such as title or release date.
The portion of the sales will go to the Marshall Mathers Foundation, which helps disadvantaged youths in Eminem’s home state of Michigan. Earlier Eminem had stated, “I’ve actually kinda just started (on a new album). I’ve been on the move a little bit too, so I’ve in between things, sneak songs in here and there,”
The global superstar is also set to feature in 2013 films ‘Shady Talez’ and Have Gun, Will Travel.
