MUMBAI: The independent distribution and services arm of Warner Music Group (WMG), Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA) Worldwide has elevated Eliah Seton to the post of president. He was associated with WMG since 2009 and was last seen holding the post of SVP, international strategy and operations at Warner Recorded Music. He will report to Warner Recorded Music president Stu Bergen.
Seton has succeeded Mike Jbara, who is now EVP technology and business processes for WMG. As part of structural change, there was a change in Bergen role that is also looking after WEA Corp.

Seton joined the strategic and business development team in 2009 and played a significant role in the sale of the company to Access Industries. In 2013, he helped execute WMG’s deal to acquire Parlophone Label Group (PLG), as well as the planning for PLG’s integration with the WMG family. In 2014, he oversaw WMG’s acquisition of Gold Typhoon- Greater China’s independent labels. He is Harvard graduate and holds an MBA degree from Harvard Business School.
