MUMBAI: Having worked on various albums and bagging top spot on BBC Radio One for the official remix of ‘Nachange Saai Raat’, DJ Teenu Arora has become renowned face in the music fraternity. With the success of Bol Bachchan remix, Arora is all set to release the music video of his upcoming single ‘Away’ globally by next month.
The music video rendered by Megha Bhardwaj will feature 2011 Miss Earth Olga Álava and will be released globally by next month. Speaking about the single, Arora says, “The single is rendered by Bhardwaj. We are shooting the music video at the outskirts of Mumbai and the single will be released by the end of this month. I am in talks with several big labels, but as the single is in nascent stage we haven’t finalized any label yet.”
Recently, the singer also released his first international single ‘Ever Since’ on the Indian music platform. The vocal house/club music single sung and written by Ramya Iyer of MTV Coke Studio Season one fame was released internationally by Pearlicka Records in USA and is available in India on all leading digital music stores like Beatport, iTunes, Amazon and more through ArtistAloud.com.
“My international single ‘Ever Since’ is a collaborative track with Ramya, she has sung and written the song while I have composed it. It is great to collaborate with her and since we have work with each other before; it was easy to come up with this single. It’s a club banger track walking more on electronic dance music tune and has powerful vocals, heavy bass line along with a hard hitting Euro Synth line,” he adds.
It isn’t the first time that Arora has collaborated with Ramya, the artiste has earlier collaborated with the singer for his chartbuster ‘Kitna Pyaara Vaada’ in 2005. Arora is also promoting the single across various digital platforms, clubs and performances. The singer states that digital has become a good platform for dance music artistes to promote their tracks and creativity. Through digital platform it’s easy to reach out to the global masses.
Apart from releasing his new music video and first international single, Arora is busy with several projects including an international project with a South African artiste for his album ‘Kish’. Arora has produced three remixes for the album.
