MUMBAI: Dhingana has showcased its commitment to become a global music leader with a new logo and app icon.
The new logo features the word ‘Dhingana’ in blue colour with a play icon for ‘album’, a transmitter effect denoting a ‘radio’ experience and a music note favouring the essence of a ‘playlist’.
“Dhingana’s new logo marks another significant milestone for our company. Our new image aligns with our vision for the future to further our expansion and ultimately connect more people through what we love most, music,” Dhingana chief executive officer Rohit Bhatia said.
The new app icon draws inspiration from a human face who is musically inclined A ‘Connoisseur of Music’. It represents the connection of all cultures and people through music.
“Technically, the multi-colour of the previous logo was not able to make the logo stand out in various layouts. New logo is simple and has an international look. It is simple, fresh and a bold update,” Bhatia told Radioandmusic.com.
He further added, “The new logo and homepage was developed to give a simple, smooth user experience and attract users globally. The aim is to simplify discovering music on our site with ease. ”
The new logo and home page will be available to limited users before making it available to audience globally. Earlier, the player that was on the top of the page has been moved to the bottom in the new home page. The home page now has the quality to adjust according to the medium it is viewed through, be it web, LCD, tab and so on.
Dhingana has introduced many initiatives in the recent past but this one is clearly a way to get new recognition visually and engage more consumers.
