MUMBAI: 9X Jalwa will honour Bollywood’s original action man Dharmendra’s half century long innings in the film industry with a special show ‘Jalwa Jubilee Hits’ that will be telecast on 1 June (2100 hours).
The hour-long show will celebrate the he-man’s five decades stint in the film industry where he has acted in memorable films like ‘Yaadon Ki Baaraat’, ‘Blackmail’, ‘Phool Aur Patthar’, ‘Mera Gaon Mera Desh’ and ‘Sholay’.
The show will also include his interviews where he candidly speaks of his journey through the decades to his return to screen with sons on upcoming action- comic film ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana 2′.

“It’s a pleasure to be able to connect with my fans across India. I love the ever green Bollywood songs being played on the channel. Through their show I will be sharing my experiences on everything related to my movies and my journey in Bollywood,” Dharmendra said.
9X Jalwa will also air special vignettes and popular tracks from Dharmendra movies across their most popular music bands – Blockbuster, Love Sweet Love and Jee Le Dobara, all through June.
“Dharmendra is an ever green hero who has featured in some of the most loved all time Bollywood hit songs. It is a great honour for us to celebrate the 54 years of Dharmendra in the Hindi Cinema. We are dedicating Jalwa Jubilee Hits our special show to Dharamji,” 9X Media Group head of programming & sr vice-president Amar Tidke said.
Jalwa Jubliee Hits will be repeated on 2 June at 1pm and 7 June at 9pm.
