MUMBAI: The latest song, Dekhte Dekhte, from the upcoming Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer, Batti Gul Meter Chalu,is trending at number two on Youtube.
Sung by Atif Aslam, this soulful song is the Bollywood rendition of the original melodious number, sung by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. While the music is recreated by Rochak Kohli, the lyrics of the song are re-written by Manoj Muntashir. The song has garnered over 19 million views on Youtube as of now.
The song showcases the leads, Shahid and Shraddha reminiscing their good times spent together. Atif’s voice has completely done justice to the plot of the video. The talented singer has also given his best shot as he has, exceptionally, tried to match the aura of the original song by Nusrat.
