MUMBAI: After Pankaj Udhas, Bhangra pop-singer Daler Mehndi will perform a concert in Johannesburg.
Daler Mehndi concert will be held on 19 June in association with Jet Airways.
Daler Mehndi will perform on his gamut of hit Bhangra songs including Bolo Ta Ra Ra, Balle Balle, Jalwa, Tunak Tunak, Ru-Ba-Ru, Shamla Meri Koko and a range of musical genres like pop, film, gurbani, sufi and alternative.
Speaking with RadioandMusic.com, Daler Mehndi said, Music is a great gift from the divine which will be shared with South Africans at Johannesburg. I am going to perform a bhangra fused with punk, tweaked with a bit of Sufi and sprinkled with a dash of my Bollywood hits….
