MUMBAI: Bolo Ta Ra Ra singer, Daler Mehndi has collaborated with Dubai based DJ Shadow for a song.
“DJ Shadow was recently listening to Daler Mehndi’s music and he tagged the latter on Facebook. This caught Daler’s attention, who thought that collaborating with Shadow would be great,” revealed Daler Mehndi’s management.
The popular Punjabi singer’s management further added, “Daler Mehndi and DJ Shadow met in Dubai and music ideas came together. They discussed further plans and the collaboration took off pretty well.”

While talks are just at the initial stage, the team has confirmed that Mehndi will be composing and featuring in it.
The song will release by the end of this year, “DJ Shadow will add the new age feel to the song, which will not be a typical Punjabi track. This was something exciting Dalerji wanted to do for a while.”
Mehndi recently gave vocals to animated film, Chhota Bheem. “There are many collaborations happening and next one is on the roll,” the management concluded.
